For this project, we had to choose a historical movement of typography and create a piece in that same style. I decided to do the vintage travel postcards that have 'Greetings from," on them. 

I started off trying to draw out all of the letterforms, but I was not liking how they were looking. I also then adjusted the rise of the letters because in my first sketch it was too upward.

I was inspired by vintage travel postcards and the texture they had that made them look old and worn down. I love the bold typefaces that were being used as well and wanted to incorporate that into my piece too.
